Sorry and and fyi

I probably won't be online much the next couple of days. We discovered a wee septic issue and had to vacate the house on 2 hours notice while they turn the water off and fix the leak. If all goes well we'll be back at home on Monday evening. Until then I'm on my laptop at my sister's and our morning bottle/computer/post on the blog routine is all messed up. So... hopefully I'll be back on tuesday morning with some more great inspiration for you all!

Season

Make a LO or project that highlight a season. It doesn't have to be spring - any one you want. Just as long as the theme of the LO has to do with a season!

Recipe

I just found this great blog called Sketches! {by Tamara}. It is currently on hold for the summer but will be back up in September so check back for some great challenges!

Here's her Recipe #48

I will give a list of three items that must be used on a card or layout. You are not limited to only the three items listed. You can use as many items on your layout or cards as you wish. But the minimum on it must be what is listed in the recipe.

This weeks Recipe came from Carol, one of the Recipe Design Team Members.

Create a card or layout using the following items:

* red
* round
* ric rac

Don't forget to stop over there and see what her dt did with this challenge!

Use your stash

Alright, pull out the goodies that you have hiding in the back of your stash under all the new cha 09 stuff and let's use some up! I want you to use at least the following on a LO or project. It doesn't have to be all older stuff, but try and use as much from at least last year as you can.

1 thing you've been meaning to use for a while
3 patterned papers
3 ribbons
7 chipboard shapes and/or cardstock punchouts
7 brads
9 random older embellies

Here's how Erica used it up!

Trends & Techniques

I'm seeing leafy green stuff on LOs all over the place lately! Especially on the digi LOs, but a lot of the new paper stuff is nature themed too. Make a LO or project with the trend of nature inspired embellies and the technique of pop dotting, (drop shadows for you digi gals).
